In the 1940s in the small town of Jupiter Hollow, two sets of identical twins are born in the same hospital on the same night. One set to a poor local family and the other to a rich family just passing through. The dizzy nurse on duty accidentally mixes the twins unbeknown to the parents. Our story flashes forward to the 1980s where the mismatched sets of twins are about to cross paths.

The new frontier of Venus has degenerated into a dystopia ravaged by the civil war between Ishtar and Aphrodia. A 40 years old man, Alfonso, finally succeeds to marry a virgin, educate, beautiful and very catholic woman. But soon she, Regina, starts stressing him because she wants to be pregnant. When the stress is at its peak Regina at last gets pregnant. Once the goal is reached the man is put aside and dies.

It's an excellent movie with good performances from the actors and a lot of unforced funny moments.Not only is "Nisos" a pleasant movie to watch but also it is a meaningful one since it's main theme is the resemblance of the hypocrisy of the Greek society in the 21rst century while all of of the action takes place in one of the most beautiful Greek Islands, Sifnos. I undoubtedly recommend it!
