A Little Thing Called Love

Uno

The film centers around a group of young men whom reside in an area of Oslo that is predominantly inhabited by immigrants. Best friends David and Morten work as gym instructors at Jarle's gym. Jarle is a sadistic small-time criminal whom, together with his son Lars, purchase and distribute anabolic steroids. Lars has ties with a notorious criminal Pakistani gang led by Khuram. The climax of the film takes place after Lars, Morten and David are arrested for possession of illegal drugs. David chooses to "snitch" on his friends in order to visit his dying father. The story escalates when Lars uses his influence on the Pakistani gang to retaliate. Lars also informs Khuram about Morten's alleged sexual intercourse with Khuram's sister, viewed as dishonourable by the Sharia law. The plot leaves the two best friends in a series of events that force them to run for their lives.

Finally at peace, Dakota trains with Austin in order to prepare to rejoin the Sweethearts for their final competition against the talented Lone Star trick riding team and become the champion trick rider she was destined to be.

Carrington

The story of the relationship between painter Dora Carrington and author Lytton Strachey in a World War One England of cottages and countryside. Although platonic due to Strachey's homosexuality, the relationship was nevertheless a deep and complicated one. When Carrington did develop a more physical relationship with soldier Ralph Partridge, Strachey was able to welcome him as a friend, although Partridge remained somewhat uneasy, not so much with Strachey's lifestyle and sexual orientation as with the fact that he was a conscientious objector.

Ferdinando and Carolina

On his death bed in the 1820s, King Ferdinando I of Naples tries to escape the ghosts of his bloody kingship by remembering his younger days, when he was allowed to go hunting and have fun, and inventing love games. Then he was obliged to marry Mary Caroline of Austria, daughter of Empress Mary Theresa, in a political marriage: unexpectedly, they became happy lovers, until court power games divided them, and a different historical season arrived.

Trippin'

So, he tells a few lies and, for awhile, it seems to be working. Then, things fall apart and Greg has to figure out how to put the trippin aside and get real.

Bill Hicks: It's Just a Ride

Short documentary / tribute to the late, truly great American stand-up comedian Bill Hicks, included as an extra in several box sets. Bill Hicks passed away in 1994, taken tragically young aged only 32. His legend and reputation, however, continue to grow. "It's Just a Ride" is a celebration of his life and work, featuring numerous clips of Bill's many recorded stand-up performances, along with trbutes from Sean Hughes, Eric Bogosian, David Letterman and Eddie Izzard, amongst others.

Neon Bull

Iremar is part of a rodeo troupe that tours the Brazilian northeast. His task is to send bulls into the arena. Intensely exciting physical scenes alternate with contemplative episodes that sketch a painterly portrait of the members of the troupe. Sublime images, which alternate with a less idyllic reality: the hard work amidst the cows. Jointly they form a fabulous choreography, against the background of a rapidly changing society.
